Meet the Team
Seth grew up in Kathmandu, Nepal. After working for several years as a Himalayan mountain guide, he moved to the U. S. and began working at Everest in 1999. He has risen through the ranks from rookie to crew foreman to operations manager and is now co-owner of Everest. Seth holds a B1 and C33 contractors license and has become well-versed in all aspects of building construction. He has 20 years of experience in the waterproofing and restoration of buildings. He currently serves on the Safety Committee of the Sealant Waterproofing & Restoration Institute. Seth lives in San Francisco with his wife and two young sons.

Peter has worked in the construction industry for close to 20 years, starting from the ground level, and working his way through the ranks, to become a senior project estimator and manager. Peter began as a laborer for a general contractor in 1982, and then in 1991, went on to Bryant Universal as a union field worker. Within only two years of working at Bryant, Peter made the leap from the 'field' to the 'office', and was promoted to become a salesman and estimator. In 1996, Peter transitioned Bryant's waterproofing division to a separate operation, and then formed Urban Waterproofing, Inc.. Peter's comprehensive knowledge of the construction industry makes him a valuable asset to the team. He is married and lives in Marin County with his family.

Born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal, Gareema moved to San Francisco in 2012. She joined the Everest team in 2018 in administration. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and 2 kids.

Arleen is a 5th generation native of San Francisco, she was born and raised in the Sunset District. She started working in accounting in 1979 focusing mainly on Medical and Veterinary Practices. In 1996 Arleen moved to construction accounting and joined Everest in 2006. Arleen now lives in the Excelsior district with her husband, they have three children and four grandchildren.

Evangelina was born and raised in Redwood City, California. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2021 with a Bachelors in Art History. Her experience is diverse, having worked as a grocery store cashier, barista, server, museum intern, social media manager for a nonprofit, assistant office manager, and as an image processing specialist in a photo lab. She returned to office work in 2024 at Everest. She still lives in Redwood City with her parents, dog, cat, and turtle.

Namgyal Tsering grew up in India and Bhutan. He immigrated to the USA in 2002 and lives in the East Bay with his family. He joined Everest in 2003. Namgyal is one of the best in the business at taking care of very large projects. His top-notch people skills coupled with his strict code of ethics is very rare in this business.

Yeshi grew up in Nepal; he studied at a monastery then became a Buddhist monk for 15 years. He came to the US in 1993 looking for a start in the painting and coating business. In 1999, Yeshi joined Everest and has worked through the ranks to become a top field supervisor. Yeshi is a big part of Everest's success; his calm demeanor and solid work ethic have guided us for the last 22 years.

David grew up in Mexico City, he moved to San Francisco with his family in 2004, then joined Everest in 2006. He started from the ground level then worked his way up to Foreman where consistently produced some of Everest's best jobs, he then moved into a Supervision role and is now a Field Supervisor. David's quiet demeanor and strong work ethic make him a true role model for our crews.

Jeff grew up in southern California and obtained a BS in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. After 18 years in High Tech, he entered construction in 2003 after the dot com meltdown in 2002. Jeff holds a specialty contractor license with California in C61. In his travels as a specialty contractor, he developed grout injection expertise in below grade structures dealing with 50-foot water tables. Jeff joined Everest in October 2019. With his technical mind and exposure to a range of complex water intrusion problems, he brings out of the box solutions to meet the challenges.

Tashi grew up in Nepal and came to the US in 2018. In 2019, he joined Everest and has worked through the ranks to become a top Field Shop Manager. Tashi lives in The East Bay with his wife and two kids.

WE ARE COMMITTED TO COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL EXCELLENCE
Everest Waterproofing & Restoration, Inc. is working towards implementing sustainability into the core of our everyday business activities.
In 2009, we contracted with an independent third-party to conduct a comprehensive sustainability audit, including GHG, waste, water and energy analysis, as well as overall corporate social responsibility activities.
Now, we are implementing resource conservation measures across our entire organization, an environmentally purchasing policy for all products procured at our corporate headquarters and jobsites and education programs for Everest staff.

Statement of Policy
It is the policy of Everest to:

Institute practices that reduce waste by increasing product efficiency and effectiveness.

Purchase products that minimize environmental impacts, toxics, pollution, and hazards to worker and community safety to the greatest extent practicable.

Purchase products that include recycled content, are durable and long-lasting, conserve energy and water, use agricultural fibers and residues, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, use unbleached or chlorine free manufacturing processes, are lead-free and mercury-free, and use wood from sustainably harvested forests.
